We are really excited about these projects. We are always looking for creative storage solutions and these projects were not only cost effective and really simple, they also turned out pretty cute!
These drawers were free at a flea market. When we picked them up we weren’t sure exactly what we were going to do with them, but as we began to design a play room we found the perfect use for them. We cleaned them up, lightly sanded them and sprayed them with Rustoleum’s Fire Engine Red Gloss Enamel. We also added casters to the bottom so they can roll around the floor easily.
This dresser was picked up for $45 at the Junk Shop in Canton, CT. It was in need of some TLC. With a little glue for the drawers and a fresh coat of paint it came out great! We used Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue in a Semi-Gloss finish.
